As for Delilah, things have not ended as well for her as one might think. Go through the comic and you’ll notice her display a consistent behavioral pattern of never retaliating against those who bring her misfortune, only crying and clinging to others and letting them fight in her place. That amazement and excitement likely wouldn't have existed if you had been aware of Delilah's people-pleasing and its continuation via this episode's ending. This Twitter Thread exists for the sake of raising awareness of said people-pleasing.
